Well, it's that time of year again.
Things have been really good, honestly. It's kind of obvious now, but it turns out leaving your house and touching grass can actually help improve your life (insane glitch not patched). I think moving out and living on campus really helped me get out of my shell and appreciate what life has to offer with memories and good times I won't forget. Ever since then I've been much more social and outgoing, which eventually helped me find my girlfriend, and of course attend the last two Newgrounds Meetups.
Can't forget all the friends I got closer with this year too (shoutout to @octopus58, @davidobro, @spicycoffee, @demifrog, @kmishama, @funpix and more). That Niagara Falls trip was really fun, hoping to go on more huge trips like that in the future!!!
I focused more on making YouTube videos and such this year instead of drawing, but I kind of want to get back into it for 2024. Maybe I'll find a balance of both, at least I hope so. (I miss drawing). I've also gained the hobby/interest of vintage and retro technology. I've been collecting VHS Tapes, Cassettes, Vinyl Records, Laser Disc etc. Of course, also getting myself a VCR/DVD player, Radio, Record Player (Christmas gift from my girlfriend) etc. Something about this stuff just really interests me and I love collecting this stuff.
My job is pretty chill too, hours aren't bad and I can usually get someone to cover for me when I don't feel like working so I can just work whenever I feel. I get hourly + tips which usually just goes towards food haha. It's a VIP Cineplex (pretty much the Canadian version of AMC for you Americans) which means it's a dine-in movie theater with a bar, lounge, pool table, restaurant area, in-seat service etc. Very nice atmosphere with (mostly) cool co-workers that I've had the pleasure to work with this year.
Things are looking good for 2024, I'm hoping that everything can be just as great as it was this year. Thanks to everyone for making this year one of the best for me, I'll catch you guys next year!! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!
